People who visit this personal website of mine and its Projects page might have a decent idea of the range of what I'm working on, but I know it's a lot and hard to keep track of. Meanwhile, the various projects have been coming together and forming more of a coherent ecosystem than I had consciously planned for.

I hereby dub this emerging vision "Kalpataru Grove", using the same metaphor that illustrates this blog. And because I seem to love making new websites, I made one to illustrate the idea and link everything together:

kalpataru-grove.info

Kalpataru Grove

Go ahead and check it out! It's basically links and one-line descriptions, plus a system diagram that spells out how things connect. I'll probably add an intro video before very long, to talk up the vision itself.

Oh, and I've also included a link (password-protected, but the hint is right there) to a new tool called Firewatch which I've built to help me keep an eye on the "grove" and make sure bot-traffic problems don't get out of hand. It basically just does some clever analytics on Nginx's detailed access logs — probably nothing that serious programmers will find useful for their purposes, but you never know, so I'm sharing access to both the interface and the code. I also think that giving people access to my usage statistics is a rad way to promote project transparency. I've never seen anyone do it before, but why not?
